Dietro al film del regista messicano troviamo l’ultima fatica di Christopher Nolan, “Dunkirk”, con 8 candidature e “Tre manifesti a Ebbing, Missouri” con 7. Il film di Martin McDonagh aveve vinto da outsider ben 4 Golden Globe. Buone notizie per l’Italia con il poker di candidature di Gaudagnino che correrà come miglior film, miglior attore protagonista (Timothée Chalamet), migliore sceneggiatura non originale (James Ivory) e miglior canzone.
